WHO RUSTY IS:
  • Rusty has four children and two grandsons.
  • After working four years at a local CPA firm, Rusty began working with the Louisiana Baptist Convention in 1984.
  • Rusty is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Public Manager.
  • EDUCATION: Louisiana College
WHAT RUSTY DOES:
  • Directs the Accounting Department activities and compiles monthly financial reports.
  • Works to prepare the annual budget and manages cash and investments for LBC.
  • Provides accounting and tax research to church treasures, pastors, CPA's and attorneys in Louisiana.
SOME OF RUSTY'S ACCOMPLISHMENTS RELATED TO LBC MINISTRY:
  • Continued initiation and implementation of accounting and auditing standards resulting in increased quality and timeliness of financial reporting
  • Helped to educate churches and staff regarding church accounting and minister taxes.
  • Seminar leader for best-selling author specializing in legal and tax issues for churches and ministers.
